If you wish for a classic fit, you should aim for a size with a bust circumference of 10-20 cm larger than your real bust circumference. If you wish for a loose fit, you should aim for a size with a bust circumference of up to 40 cm larger than your real bust circumference.
Den dark grey sweater is worked in size 1 with a positive ease of 14 cm / 5.51 inches. It is worked in one strand of Önling No 2 color Charcoal grey
The light grey / beige sweater is knitted in size 2 in color Very light grey with a positive ease of 32 cm / 12,5 inches.
Materials:
275 (300) 325 (325) g Önling No 2, 100% Merino Superfine Super 100s Wool, 25 g = app. 131 yards (120 meters).
Recommended needle size:
4 mm / US 6 circular needles (40 and 80 or 100 cm / 15 and 31 or 39 inches).
3,5 mm / US 4 circular needles (80 or 100 cm / 31 or 39 inches) or double pointed needles in same size unless working with Magic Loop
3 mm / US 3 circular needles (40 cm / 15 inches).
Gauge:
22 sts x 30 rows in stockinette stitch on needle 4 mm / US 6 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches
Procedure:
The sweater is knitted top down in one piece and is sewing-free. Begin by casting on stitches at the centre of the back, then knit back and forth in a wide rib pattern and with cables - first over the left and then over the right shoulder. Pick up stitches along the front edges of the shoulders and the back. Then continue to knit back and forth in the wide rib pattern with cables, while simultaneously knitting increases for the sleeves and neck. Join the work in the round by casting on stitches on the front and knit the yoke in the round on circular needle. The body and sleeves are then divided and knitted separately. The cables continue down the sleeves, which are shaped with a neat decrease pattern before finished with a ribbed edge. Finally, pick up stitches along the neckline and knit the neckband in rib stitch

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.

Washing instructions for your knitwearWool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect. Often it is enough to hang your woolen sweater / garment outside in the humid weather or bring it with you into the bathroom, when you take a long, hot shower - the steam will often be enough to freshen it up it and remove any unwanted odors.
Specifically for knitwear knitted in Önling's Everyday Kit
Neither Önling No 12 nor No 13, is pre-washed when you receive it on cones. You get the best result if you soak your finished knitted garment in lukewarm water for approx. 2 hours. Then wash the garment as you would otherwise with washing detergent for wool, either by hand or on a wool program in your washing machine. Dry it by laying it flat.
Specifically for knitwear knitted in Önling's Silk kit
As the Silk Kit from Önling contains 3 different qualities (linen, wool and silk), we recommend that you always wash your silk sweater / garment by hand, to avoid it changing shape or appearance during wash. The three qualities will react differently to water, temperatures, etc. Önling can not take responsibility for the result if you wash your silk sweater in the washing machine. Your garment made from the silk kit should NOT be spun or tumble dried. Instead, dry it by laying it flat.
