Agnete Cardigan is a beautiful cardigan from Petiteknit, which is knitted from the top down in brioche. Here we knit it in a beautiful and ultra soft combination of merino wool and silk mohair.

The Agnete Cardigan is designed to have approx. 10-15 cm [4-6 inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 10-15 cm [4-6 inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. A size S sweater has a bust circumference of 105 cm [41¼ inches] which in the given example would give you 15 cm [5¾ inches] of positive ease.

Col. A1: 400(450)450(450)450(550)550(550)600 g Önling No 15, 100% Merino wool. 50 g = approx. 175 m
Col. A2: 175(175)200(200)200(225)225(250)275 g Önling No 10, 70% Mohair, 30% Silk, 25 g = approx. 210m.
- One strand of each is held together throughout

Gauge: 19 sts x 56 rows in brioche stitch on a 3 mm [US2½] needle = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] (note that 56 rows in brioche stitch counts as 28 knit stitches)

Needles: Circular needles: 3 mm [US2½] / 40, 60, 80 and/or 100 cm [16, 24, 32 and or 40 inches] and 2.5 mm [US1½] / 60 cm [24 inches]; Double-pointed needles: 3 mm [US2½]

It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.

- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
